Alpine Meadows Lodge - Golden

Good value for cost. Lovely breakfast room. Lovely mountain view. Really clean. Very good local knowledge.

We stayed in a spacious chalet that easily accommodated two families. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. the staff was friendly and even helped us with our heavy luggage. the location was ideal for nature lovers, with a beautiful nature trail and a tranquil atmosphere away from the town's noise and traffic. It was also great for exploring Kicking Horse Resort, as it was situated halfway up the mountain with a stunning view of Golden.

Our experience at Alpine Meadows Lodge felt special, and we had no complaints whatsoever.

The room was simple but sufficient, with stunning alpine views. The hosts were helpful, providing tips and lending a hiking book. The breakfast was tasty and could be enjoyed earlier if needed. The lodge had a traditional ski lodge feel and a cozy dining room.

The owners, though a bit eccentric, are friendly and helpful, providing valuable advice on local excursions and restaurants. Breakfast is a delight, with options like eggs, ham, and pancakes. The lodge also boasts a hot tub and a recreational area with books and magazines for relaxation.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, guiding us to nearby attractions. The lodge itself is beautifully built with cozy balconies and a terrace, and there are plenty of spots to sit and read. a serene and picturesque experience.

Despite the noise from the trains, I was able to have a good night's sleep using ear plugs. the bathroom in the room was a pleasant surprise, especially with the jacuzzi tub. the staff was friendly and welcoming, offering tea and water upon arrival. the location itself was beautiful, surrounded by greenery and with pleasant views from the room windows.

One negative aspect of this lodge was the lack of consideration for light sleepers, as there were noise disturbances from trains across the river.

our recent stay at golden was amazing, but alpine meadows lodge truly surpassed our expectations. the clean and quiet building with its unique european and east asian decorations, friendly staff, and nice quiet location away from the townsite made our experience unforgettable.

We had a wonderful stay at Alpine Meadows Lodge. The lodge itself was beautiful, with its rustic timber and cozy fireplace. Our room wasnice and neat, providing a peaceful and quiet retreat. We were treated to a delicious continental breakfast that included yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, hard-boiled eggs, coffee. The lodge also had some lovely gathering areas, including a patio with a fine view of the town and river. Despite the small drawbacks of a gravel road access and lack of certain amenities, our overall experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this lodge for a quiet and comfortable stay in Golden.

During my recent stay at Alpine Meadows Lodge, I was delighted by the beautiful interior of the lodge. The exposed wood and large windows gave a warm and cozy ambiance. The lodge is also conveniently located, providing stunning views and easy access to various activities in the area. The wifi worked perfectly, and the separate chalet looked like a fantastic option for a longer stay. I was truly impressed by the uniqueness and charm of the building.

She was kind, friendly, and it felt like we had known her forever. the surrounding area was picturesque, and we enjoyed sitting at the outside bar in the evenings, sipping on wine and taking in the beautiful views. the breakfast provided was decent, with some highlights being the boiled eggs and fresh juice. our stay at Alpine Meadows Lodge was pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying here again. Cons: Noise and stuffiness in some rooms, possible lack of air conditioning.
